John Hubball

John holds the position of Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of the Product & Risk Committee at Kingsbury & Partners. John brings a decade of financial services experience and a regulated background to ensure maximum value to our clients and partners.

Originally from Leeds, UK, John embarked on his career journey as an apprentice at KPMG. As a part-qualified accountant and a Member of the AAT, he honed his skills and expertise over five years in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice. His focus lay in assisting large-cap financial service firms with their debt capital markets, structured finance, and asset-backed securities.

With a wealth of experience in both buy- side and sell - side transactions, John applied rigorous due diligence methodology and financial analysis to guide clients towards the most effective market routes.

Transitioning thereafter, he assumed a pivotal role within the treasury team of a FTSE 250 listed bank headquartered in London.In this capacity, John took on a broader perspective, overseeing the bank’s balance sheet and leading the funding and capital markets team.Over three years as a senior member of an FCA - regulated bank, he spearheaded capital raises exceeding £850 million and was responsible for a total funding portfolio exceeding £2 billion, fostering relationships with both retail and institutional investors.
